Gagandeep Randhawa Suicide Case: Wife Demands CBI Probe After Laljit Bhullar’s Arrest

Randhawa Suicide Case Wife Seeks CBI Probe

Following the arrest of former Punjab minister Laljit Singh Bhullar in the suicide case of Warehouse District Manager Gagandeep Singh Randhawa, the victim’s wife Upinder Kaur has come forward demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the matter.

Addressing the media, Upinder Kaur alleged that several accused individuals have not yet been arrested and called for a fair and transparent investigation. She stated that her family would provide all available evidence, including phone recordings, to the agency assigned to investigate the case.

She emphasized that justice should be ensured at the earliest, adding that despite Bhullar’s father being elderly, people should also understand the pain her family is going through after losing a loved one.

Upinder Kaur further claimed that Members of Parliament are writing letters seeking a CBI inquiry following directions from Union Home Minister Amit Shah. She urged that if Aam Aadmi Party MPs fail to support the demand, Parliament should still initiate a CBI investigation independently.

She also requested the formation of a panel of doctors for the postmortem examination and asked authorities to expedite legal procedures so the family can perform the final rites without further delay.

Raising concerns over safety, she sought security protection for herself and her family, stating that she now feels some relief after the arrest but hopes police will obtain remand soon and arrest the remaining accused.

The case continues to attract political and public attention as investigations move forward, with authorities expected to take further action in the coming days.
