Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Army Training Command (ARTRAC), today dedicated the restored Army Heritage Museum at Anadel, Shimla, to the public following extensive renovation work.
During the ceremony, he also hoisted a 52-foot tall national flag, symbolizing India’s unity, integrity, and pride. The Army Heritage Museum is one of Shimla’s prominent tourist attractions and receives a large number of visitors throughout the year.
The dedication event saw the participation of ARTRAC officers, soldiers, station units, ex-servicemen, and NCC cadets, who paid tribute to the nation’s brave martyrs.
The restoration of the memorial and the installation of the towering national flag reflect the Indian Army’s commitment to honoring its fallen heroes, preserving the rich traditions of valor, sacrifice, and patriotism, and inspiring future generations.
