Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam dedicated to Goddess Brahmacharini, emphasizing her divine and benevolent grace upon devotees.
Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister offered prayers and paid homage to the revered Goddess, who is worshipped on the second day of Navratri as a symbol of devotion, penance, and spiritual strength.
In his post, PM Modi wrote:
“मां ब्रह्मचारिणी के चरणों में कोटि-कोटि नमन! देवी मां सभी भक्तों पर अपनी कृपा बनाए रखें।”
He also shared a sacred Sanskrit verse praising Goddess Brahmacharini:
“दधाना करपद्माभ्यामक्षमालाकमण्डलू।
देवी प्रसीदतु मयि ब्रह्मचारिण्यनुत्तमा॥”
The verse describes the Goddess holding a rosary and a water pot in her lotus-like hands and seeks her divine blessings and compassion.
Goddess Brahmacharini represents devotion, wisdom, and perseverance. Devotees across the country worship her during Navratri, seeking strength, peace, and spiritual enlightenment.
The Prime Minister’s message resonated with devotees celebrating the auspicious festival, reflecting India’s rich spiritual and cultural traditions.
