Nissan Motor India has announced consolidated sales of 10,565 units in 2026, reflecting continued growth across domestic and international markets. The company recorded a strong 23 percent year-on-year increase in total sales, signaling steady business expansion.
Out of the total sales, domestic wholesale stood at 2,230 units last month, while exports contributed 8,335 units. The strong export performance underlines India’s growing strategic importance in Nissan’s global operations.
The impressive growth also coincides with the launch of the all-new Nissan Magnite, which has received an overwhelming response from the market. The company reported robust bookings from across regions, helping Nissan cross another milestone in February.
Deliveries of the new Magnite began nationwide from March 1, 2026, marking the beginning of a new growth phase for Nissan in India. The company stated that this new chapter is built on a product strategy tailored specifically for Indian customers, strong dealer confidence, and sharper market focus.
Managing Director Saurabh Vatsa said that February was a significant month for Nissan in India, highlighting both growth and future potential. He emphasized that sustained export demand reinforces India’s strategic role in Nissan’s global manufacturing and distribution network.
With strong export momentum and positive domestic demand for the new Magnite, Nissan Motor India appears poised for continued expansion in the competitive Indian automobile market.
