Raj Kumar Verka Slams BJP Over Amit Shah’s March 14 Moga Rally, Targets PM Modi

Raj Kumar Verka Targets BJP Over Amit Shah’s Moga Rally

Senior BJP leader and former Cabinet Minister Raj Kumar Verka has strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the upcoming rally of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, scheduled for March 14 in Moga.

Taking a sharp dig at the party leadership, Verka questioned the purpose of Shah’s rally and accused the BJP of engaging in vote bank politics in Punjab. Referring to a previous rally addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that earlier claims suggested Modi would bring major benefits for Punjab, but no concrete promises were made during the event.

Verka alleged that during the Prime Minister’s visit, there was no specific address to farmers, laborers, entrepreneurs, or industrial stakeholders regarding their concerns and economic interests. He further questioned what Amit Shah intends to offer during his upcoming rally in Moga.

According to Verka, Shah’s visit is aimed solely at strengthening the BJP’s vote bank rather than addressing the pressing issues faced by Punjab. He claimed that the people of Punjab neither supported the BJP in the past nor are likely to do so now.

Highlighting the role of the Congress party, Verka stated that Congress has consistently safeguarded the interests of Punjab and the nation. He emphasized that Rahul Gandhi continues to raise his voice for farmers, workers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and the common man, which is why people in Punjab and across the country prefer him over Modi.

The political atmosphere in Punjab is expected to intensify further as the date of Amit Shah’s rally approaches, with opposition leaders sharpening their attacks against the BJP leadership.
