Red Cross Amritsar to Serve at Hola Mohalla 2026

Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Dalwinderjeet Singh, the District Red Cross Society Amritsar will set up four first aid posts at Sri Anandpur Sahib to facilitate devotees during the auspicious festival of Hola Mohalla.

These first aid posts will provide round-the-clock medical assistance, medicines and emergency care through medically trained volunteers and doctors working under the supervision of the District Red Cross Society.

The first aid teams were flagged off today by Assistant Commissioner (UT)-cum-Honorary Secretary Red Cross, Piyusha Burdak, who extended her best wishes to the teams for their humanitarian service.

District Red Cross Society Secretary Samson Masih informed that the first aid posts will remain operational 24×7 from February 27, 2026, to March 5, 2026, ensuring immediate medical assistance to pilgrims visiting Sri Anandpur Sahib during the celebrations.

The posts will function under the leadership of Jagjit Singh Khalsa and Dilpreet Singh. To ensure proper coordination among the first aid teams, special duties have been assigned to Vinod Kumar, Shashpal Singh, Ms. Neha and Yusuf Masih.

The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to ensuring safety and medical preparedness during major religious gatherings in Punjab.
