RS Bali Guides Students at Career Counseling Program in Nagrota Bagwan

RS Bali Addresses Career Program in Nagrota

Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and Vice Chairman (Cabinet Rank) of the Tourism Development Board, as well as MLA from Nagrota Bagwan, RS Bali attended a one-day career guidance and future-building program as the chief guest at PM SHRI Government Model Senior Secondary School, Badoh.

The event witnessed participation from nearly 250 Class 12 students representing 10 schools from the Nagrota Bagwan Assembly constituency.

Emphasis on Positive Thinking and Clear Goals

Addressing the students, RS Bali encouraged them to move forward in life with a positive mindset. He stated that a positive attitude not only helps in overcoming challenges but also builds confidence and perseverance.

He stressed the importance of staying informed about emerging career opportunities in a rapidly changing world. Students were advised to choose career paths aligned with their interests, abilities, and skills to ensure meaningful and successful futures.

Focus on Skill Development and Self-Employment

Highlighting the competitive nature of the present era, Bali urged youth to set clear goals and focus on skill development, technical education, and self-employment opportunities.

He pointed out that with evolving times, new sectors are creating expanding employment and entrepreneurship prospects. Acquiring technical knowledge and upgrading skills are essential to benefit from these opportunities.

He also emphasized that education should not be limited to obtaining degrees but must include personality development, moral values, and social responsibility.

CBSE Affiliation for PM SHRI School

During the event, RS Bali announced that PM SHRI Government Model Senior Secondary School, Badoh has now been granted affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). He said this step will enable students to receive education aligned with national-level curriculum standards.

On the occasion, he distributed diaries to students as a gesture of encouragement.

Several dignitaries, including college principals, school heads, teachers, parents, and local officials, were present at the program.

The event reinforced the state government’s focus on improving educational quality and guiding youth toward skill-driven and goal-oriented careers.
