Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann left for Bengaluru on Wednesday evening to undergo a short naturopathy and wellness programme at the Jindal Naturecure Institute.
The visit comes days after he was discharged from a private hospital following a brief illness last week. Sources said doctors who treated the Chief Minister advised him to take adequate rest and follow a supervised lifestyle correction programme.
Mann reportedly experienced fatigue and fluctuations in certain health parameters due to his hectic political schedule. Last Sunday, he was flown by helicopter from Dhuri to Mohali and admitted to a private medical facility, where he remained under treatment for four days.
Soon after being discharged, the Chief Minister resumed public engagements and attended the Kila Raipur Sports Festival, popularly known as the Rural Olympics.
Officials said the naturopathy programme in Bengaluru is part of a preventive health plan aimed at ensuring his long-term well-being. Further updates on his schedule are expected after the completion of the wellness programme.
