Two Sisters Arrested in Bhopal for Job Fraud and Alleged Trafficking Racket

Bhopal Sisters Held in Job Scam, Trafficking Case

The Bhopal Police have arrested two sisters in connection with an alleged job fraud and human trafficking racket in Bhopal.

According to police officials, the accused — identified as Amreen and Afreen — allegedly lured young women by promising them employment opportunities and a better lifestyle. During the investigation, it was revealed that the victims were allegedly pressured into changing their religion and coerced into immoral activities.

Preliminary findings suggest that the accused were operating an interstate network, reportedly sending women to cities such as Mumbai and Gujarat, where they were allegedly supplied to affluent clients.

Police sources said that multiple complaints had recently been filed regarding missing women from different parts of Bhopal. During the probe, investigators uncovered evidence indicating that the victims were initially trapped with promises of jobs and financial security before being gradually pressured into illegal activities.

Authorities further revealed that the accused had amassed significant wealth through the alleged racket and had purchased a luxury villa in a posh locality of the city. The property details are currently under scrutiny as part of the financial investigation.

The two sisters are currently in police custody, and further interrogation is underway to identify other possible accomplices and victims. Officials stated that more arrests could follow as the investigation progresses.

Police have urged citizens to verify job offers carefully and report suspicious activities to prevent such exploitation cases in the future.
