An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Amritsar City Police,ASI Kapil Sharma, has been honoured for his dedicated service and prompt action in recovering lost and stolen items in the city.
ASI Kapil Sharma has served in various police stations and chowkis across Amritsar with commitment. During his tenure as In-Charge of the Bus Stand Chowki, he successfully traced and returned lost and stolen belongings of several passengers within hours.
Currently posted at Shiwala Chowki, he once again demonstrated alertness and efficiency by recovering lost gold jewellery and a missing wallet belonging to a devotee who had visited the Shiwala Temple during Shivratri. The valuables were returned to their rightful owners in a short span of time.
In recognition of his commendable performance, Editor-in-Chief Rajesh Sandhu and senior journalist Subhash Babar of the Hindi daily Brief India honoured ASI Kapil Sharma. They appreciated his dedication and thanked him for resolving the problems of city residents with sincerity and responsibility.
