Renowned Punjabi singer KS Makhan rejoins Shiromani Akali Dal and has once again become active in politics. He formally returned to the party during a special event held at his native village Shankar near Nakodar.
The event was attended by party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, in whose presence KS Makhan, along with hundreds of his supporters, rejoined the Shiromani Akali Dal.
Welcoming Makhan back into the party, Sukhbir Singh Badal stated that his return would significantly strengthen the party, especially among the youth. He assured that every hardworking worker and leader within the party would receive due respect and recognition.
Speaking after rejoining, KS Makhan expressed happiness over returning to what he described as his political home. He said he has always had an affinity for the Shiromani Akali Dal and feels proud to be back. Makhan also assured that he and his supporters would work tirelessly for the growth and success of the party.
The development is being seen as an important move for the Shiromani Akali Dal as it seeks to expand its outreach and consolidate support in Punjab.
