Grand Langar Organized in Jandiala Guru on Maha Shivratri

Massive Langar Held in Jandiala on Maha Shivratri

Sri Amritsar Sahib/Jandiala Guru, February 17 – On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, grand langars were organized at several temples in Jandiala Guru town. Devotees gathered in large numbers to offer prayers and seek blessings with deep faith and enthusiasm.

As part of the celebrations, a massive langar was arranged at Raghunath Temple, Dalliana, under the patronage of Surinder Kumar Sonu and his family, continuing their annual tradition of service. From early morning, a large number of devotees thronged the temple premises, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

The temple complex echoed with chants of “Bam Bam Bhole,” as devotees immersed themselves in devotion to Lord Shiva. The Sonu family managed the langar arrangements with dedication and reverence, serving meals to all attendees. Devotees expressed joy and spiritual fulfillment while partaking in the community meal.

Among those present on the occasion were Madam Suhinder Kaur, wife of Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, Urban President Sarabjit Singh Dimpy, Dr. Ashwani Sharma, Surinder Pal Singh, Surinder Sonu, former Municipal Council President Ravinderpal Singh Kukku, Sahil Sharma, Prekshat Sharma Gugga, Rakesh Kumar Goldy, Roki Sharma, Deep Sharma, Deep Kumar Vigg, Bapu Sharma, and several other volunteers who rendered seva during the langar.

The event reflected communal harmony, devotion, and the spirit of selfless service that marks the festival of Maha Shivratri.
