Four Arrested for Firing Outside Rohit Shetty’s Mumbai Residence

Mumbai Police, in a joint operation with Haryana Police, have arrested four accused in connection with the firing incident outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai.

The arrests include three shooters allegedly linked to the Lawrence gang. The accused were apprehended from a construction site in Amdalpur village under the Machhrauli police station area. The successful operation was carried out by the Haryana Police Special Task Force (STF), Bahadurgarh unit, in coordination with Mumbai Police.

According to officials, one pistol and a motorcycle were recovered from the accused. All four individuals — identified as Ritik, Deepak, Sunny, and Sonu — have been handed over to the Mumbai Police’s Extortion Cell for further investigation.

The firing incident took place on the night of January 31 outside Rohit Shetty’s house in Juhu, Mumbai. Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack was carried out with the intent to extort money.

Police are continuing their probe to determine the full extent of the conspiracy and to identify any additional individuals involved in the case.
