Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Re-Admitted to Mohali’s Fortis Hospital

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was re-admitted to Fortis Hospital Mohali on Monday evening, just hours after being discharged from the same facility.

Sources said the 52-year-old Chief Minister was taken back to the hospital after experiencing exhaustion. Officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that Mann reached the hospital around 8:30 pm for what was described as a routine check-up. No official statement had been issued by the hospital at the time of filing this report.

On Sunday, Mann had attended a Mahashivratri event along with AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal at Shri Rankeshwar Mahadev Shiv Mandir in Sangrur. Shortly after offering prayers, he reportedly felt unwell and was shifted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali.

In an earlier statement issued on Sunday, hospital authorities confirmed that the Chief Minister’s condition was stable. He underwent a comprehensive clinical assessment and standard diagnostic investigations, and all vital parameters were said to be within normal limits.

The hospital had stated that Mann was experiencing exhaustion and was admitted for observation and supportive care under the supervision of a multidisciplinary medical team.

Further updates on his health condition are awaited.
