A devotional recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji was organized with great श्रद्धा and enthusiasm at DR Modern Senior Secondary School and DR Junior Campus ahead of the commencement of annual examinations. The spiritual event was held to seek the blessings of the Guru for students’ success and well-being.
The program began with the sacred Path of Sri Sukhmani Sahib, followed by a collective Ardas in which students, teachers, and parents participated. Prayers were offered for students’ bright futures, good health, and success in the upcoming examinations.
Renowned kathavachak Giani Ranjit Singh delivered an emotional and motivational discourse, inspiring students to follow the path of truth, service, and hard work. Students also performed Shabad Kirtan, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for the congregation.
Several distinguished guests from various walks of life attended the ceremony, including Mukhwinder Singh (Trustee, Improvement Trust), Councillor Arvin Bhakna, Mandeep Singh, Madam Janak Joshi, Jagjit Singh, Harleen Kaur, Suman Thakur, and Kanwaljit Singh Danny. All guests were honored by the school management.
On the occasion, School Chairman DS Pathania emphasized that prayer provides peace of mind, confidence, and right guidance to students, while the Guru’s blessings lay the foundation for success in life. Principal Himani Pathania extended her best wishes to students, highlighting that true success comes from combining education with strong values.
Director Ravinder Pathania thanked everyone for their cooperation and shared that the school organizes Sri Sukhmani Sahib Path every year, with students actively managing the arrangements and preparing langar themselves. He added that with the Guru’s blessings, students have consistently achieved excellent results and secured positions in the merit list.
The event concluded with the distribution of Karah Prasad and Langar, attended by guests, teachers, students, and parents, marking the ceremony with devotion and unity.
