Bal Jogi Pargat Nath Assumes Charge as Chairman of Ram Tirath Shrine Board

Shri Bal Jogi Pargat Nath formally assumed charge as Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Bhagwan Valmiki Ji Tirth Sthal (Ram Tirath) Shrine Board on Friday. Before taking charge, he paid obeisance and sought blessings at the sacred shrine, offering prayers for the welfare of all.

The ceremony was attended by Punjab Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, Delhi AAP MLA Ajay Dutt, MLAs Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Dr. Jasbir Singh Sandhu, Jeevan Jyot Kaur, Dalbir Singh Tong, Balkar Singh, Inderjit Kaur Mann, and several other dignitaries and officials.

After assuming office, Bal Jogi Pargat Nath expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the state government for entrusting him with the responsibility. He assured that he would discharge his duties with dedication, honesty, and a spirit of service.

He said that Bhagwan Valmiki Ji Tirth Sthal, popularly known as Ram Tirath, is globally recognized for its spiritual significance, and he would ensure that devotees visiting the shrine receive the best facilities and services. He also emphasized focusing on further beautification and development of the holy site.

Cabinet Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO congratulated the newly appointed Chairman and stated that under his leadership, the shrine’s management and development would reach new heights. He reaffirmed the Punjab Government’s commitment to the development and beautification of the sacred site and highlighted that devotees are being facilitated under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Scheme.

Several religious, social, and political leaders were present on the occasion and extended their congratulations to the new Chairman, expressing hope that his appointment would mark a milestone in the service and management of the revered shrine.
