Under the observance of Financial Literacy Week, the LDM Office Mandi organized a Financial Literacy Camp at Government College Thachi. Around 50 students along with faculty members of the college participated in the awareness programme.
During the session, participants were provided detailed information about the importance and necessity of KYC, Re-KYC, and CKYC compliance. Officials also educated students about financial frauds, digital arrest scams, mule accounts, and other emerging cybercrimes, along with preventive measures to stay safe.
The primary objective of the camp was to promote safe and responsible banking practices among students and to enhance their financial awareness.
Additionally, students were informed about various banking products, including the Y.S. Parmar Student Loan Scheme, enabling them to make informed financial decisions and manage their finances effectively in the future.
The initiative aimed to strengthen financial literacy among youth and encourage secure digital and banking practices.
