PM Modi to Unveil Seva Teerth, Inaugurate Kartavya Bhavan 1 & 2 in Delhi

PM Modi to Inaugurate Seva Teerth Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the name of the new government building complex, Seva Teerth, today at around 1:30 PM in the national capital. Later in the evening, at approximately 6 PM, he will formally inaugurate Seva Teerth along with Kartavya Bhavan-1 and Kartavya Bhavan-2 and address a public gathering at the venue.

The inauguration marks a significant milestone in India’s administrative governance framework and reflects the Prime Minister’s vision of building a modern, efficient, accessible, and citizen-centric governance ecosystem.

Consolidation of Key Administrative Offices

Seva Teerth will house the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS), and the Cabinet Secretariat. These key offices were previously functioning from different locations. The new complex brings them together under one roof in a state-of-the-art, future-ready facility designed to enhance coordination and efficiency.

Kartavya Bhavan-1 and 2 will accommodate several major ministries, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Modern and Digitally Integrated Infrastructure

Both complexes feature digitally integrated office systems, structured public interface zones, and centralized reception facilities. These elements are aimed at improving collaboration among departments, streamlining governance processes, strengthening citizen engagement, and enhancing employee well-being.

The buildings are also equipped with advanced safety and security measures, including smart access control systems, surveillance networks, and modern emergency response infrastructure. These provisions are designed to ensure a secure, efficient, and accessible environment for officials as well as visitors.

The inauguration of Seva Teerth and Kartavya Bhavan is being seen as a transformative step in reshaping India’s governance infrastructure for the future.
