Bomb Threat at Punjab and Haryana High Court Triggers Evacuation and Security Alert

Bomb Threat at Punjab and Haryana High Court

Panic gripped the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh after the court received a bomb threat, prompting immediate action from security agencies. As soon as the threat was reported, the High Court administration ordered the evacuation of courtrooms as a precautionary measure.

All ongoing court proceedings were temporarily suspended, and lawyers, litigants, and court staff were safely escorted out of the premises. A large gathering of advocates was seen outside the court complex, while security teams took control of the situation inside the building.

Police personnel and bomb disposal squads rushed to the spot and began an intensive search operation across the entire High Court परिसर. Every corner of the complex is being thoroughly checked to rule out any potential danger. Security has also been tightened in the surrounding areas as an added safety measure.

Meanwhile, the police are working to trace the source of the bomb threat. Officials stated that the situation will become clear only after the investigation is completed. The High Court administration has assured that normal judicial work will resume only after the security clearance is given and the premises are declared safe.
