Devotees Pay Tribute at Fatehgarh Sahib to Martyrdom of Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji

On the occasion of the annual Shaheedi Jor Mela held in memory of Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the younger sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and Mata Gujri Ji, devotees from across Punjab thronged Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib to pay tribute to their supreme sacrifice and unwavering faith.

Several families, including local devotees and visitors from nearby districts, visited the holy shrine today to bow their heads in reverence at the sacred feet of the Guru and to offer prayers in remembrance of the martyrs. The atmosphere at the shrine was deeply spiritual as devotees chanted hymns and remembered the timeless message of courage and sacrifice.

The martyrdom of Guru Sahib’s younger sons—who were martyred at a tender age for upholding faith and righteousness—remains unmatched in world history. Their steadfast resolve and bravery continue to inspire generations to live with determination, honor, and devotion to truth.

Community leaders and participants called the Jor Mela a symbol of Sikh valor and spiritual resilience, reaffirming the eternal legacy of the Sahibzadas’ sacrifice in the history of humanity.
