Punjab Speaker Urges SGPC to Back Action on 328 Guru Sacrilege Cases Amid Martyrdom Day Event

Kotkapura, Punjab – During an event at Gurdwara Patshahi Dasvin marking the martyrdom day, Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan made a strong appeal to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC). He questioned why action is being opposed in the case of 328 sacred forms of Guru Sahib found scattered on streets, causing deep pain to Sikh devotees worldwide.

Sandhwan emphasized that everyone is aware of the hurt inflicted on the global Sikh community. He urged the SGPC to support the Punjab government in taking firm action against those who betrayed the Sikh community in Guru-related matters, as well as their patrons.

The Speaker clarified that no politics will be played on Guru issues, but the strength from Guru Sahib will be used appropriately against the guilty.
