Jandiala Guru Road Project Gets ₹1.05 Crore Boost

Amritsar (Dawarka Nath Rana): The Jandiala Guru Road Project received a major boost on Thursday as Punjab Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO laid the foundation stone for a new road in Rajdhan village. The project, worth ₹1.05 crore, will cover a stretch of 3.5 kilometres and is expected to improve transportation facilities for local residents.

The minister visited Rajdhan, Nangli, and Mehta villages under the Jandiala Guru Assembly constituency. During the visit, he held public meetings and interacted directly with residents. Moreover, he listened to their concerns and reviewed several local issues.

Residents Raise Local Issues During Public Meetings

During the public interaction programme, villagers highlighted problems related to civic amenities and local development. Harbhajan Singh ETO assured residents that their concerns would receive prompt attention.

Furthermore, he directed the concerned officials to take immediate action and ensure timely resolution of public grievances. According to the minister, addressing people’s concerns remains a top priority for the Punjab Government.

A major highlight of the visit was the launch of the Jandiala Guru Road Project in Rajdhan village. The new road will be constructed at a cost of ₹1.05 crore.
