Hindi in Government Work Focus of Mandi Workshop

Mandi (Kameshwar Sharma): Hindi in Government Work remained the central theme of a quarterly Hindi workshop jointly organized by the Regional Office Shimla and Regional Office Chandigarh at Sanskriti Sadan in Mandi. Deputy Director General Deepak Mehra chaired the event and encouraged officials to increase the use of Hindi in day-to-day administration.

The workshop highlighted the importance of Hindi in Government Work and emphasized the effective implementation of the Rajbhasha policy across government departments.

District Language Officer Rewati Saini and Associate Professor Dr. Hoshiyar Singh attended the workshop as keynote speakers. They explained how Hindi in Government Work can improve communication, simplify administrative processes, and make public services more accessible.

Furthermore, they stressed that wider adoption of Hindi can strengthen transparency and enhance interaction between government offices and citizens. They also urged employees to contribute actively to the promotion of Rajbhasha Hindi.
