MLA Ajay Gupta Donates ₹2 Lakh to Ravidas Mandir

Ravidas Mandir Receives ₹2 Lakh Donation from MLA Gupta

Amritsar (Simran Santosh Rajput): Shri Ashwani Kumar Kataria and the entire Kataria family organized the sixth consecutive Akhand Jaap of Shri Amrit Bani at Shri Guru Ravidas Mandir Head Office, Bhushanpura, bringing together devotees and community members for a spiritual gathering.The spiritual event witnessed the participation of devotees, community leaders, and distinguished guests from across the city.

The program at Shri Guru Ravidas Mandir began with the continuous recitation of Shri Amrit Bani. The religious ceremony created a devotional atmosphere and attracted a large number of followers. Devotees gathered to seek blessings and participate in the sacred prayers.

MLA Dr. Ajay Gupta Attends as Chief Guest

Dr. Ajay Gupta, MLA from the Central Assembly constituency, attended the event as the chief guest. Councillor Jarnail Singh Dhot, N.P. Singh Dhot, and several community members also joined the religious gathering.

During his visit to Shri Guru Ravidas Mandir, Dr. Gupta interacted with members of the management committee and the congregation. He appreciated the efforts made by the organizers in promoting spiritual and social harmony through such religious programs.

₹2 Lakh Donation Announced for Temple Development

Dr. Ajay Gupta made one of the event’s most significant contributions by announcing a donation of ₹2 lakh for the development of Shri Guru Ravidas Mandir.

He presented a cheque of ₹2 lakh from his personal earnings to the management committee of Shri Guru Ravidas Prakash Mandir for construction and development-related works.

The contribution received appreciation from devotees and committee members. Furthermore, the donation is expected to support ongoing infrastructure and improvement projects at the temple.

The management committee expressed gratitude for the generous contribution. Members stated that the financial support would help strengthen facilities and benefit the growing number of devotees visiting the temple.

Religious Ceremonies Conducted with Devotion

The Akhand Jaap of Shri Amrit Bani commenced at 7:00 AM and continued until 12:00 noon. Thereafter, devotees participated in a Kirtan Darbar from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Subsequently, the congregation offered Ardas, and finally, the ceremony concluded with the Bhog of Shri Amrit Bani. Devotional hymns filled the temple premises and created a spiritually uplifting environment.

Following the Kirtan Darbar, the congregation offered Ardas and participated in the Bhog ceremony. Devotees prayed for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of society.

Large Number of Devotees Participate

Several members of the temple management committee and local community attended the event. Among those present were President Hakumat Rai (Tony), General Secretary Gopal Shahi (Sunny), Sardari Lal Bangar, Kishan Lal Joshia, Brij Mohan Kataria, Harinder Kumar Happy, Rakesh Kumar Rajan Juganiyan, Om Prakash, Ashwani Kataria, Gurdeep Kumar, Danish Jaswal, Dr. A.P. Kataria, Sunil Kumar, Surjit Kumar, Baba Dayal, Arun Kumar, Anwar Dev, Mohit, Rahul Pallewal, Mukesh Kumar, Pawan Singh, Yogesh, Shubham, and many other devotees.

The successful organization of the event once again highlighted the religious significance of Shri Guru Ravidas Mandir and its role in bringing the community together through faith and service.

At the conclusion of the program, the management committee formally thanked Dr. Ajay Gupta for his ₹2 lakh donation and appreciated his support for the temple’s development initiatives.
