All India Kisan Sabha Plans Major Protests in Punjab

All India Kisan Sabha Protest Plan Announced in India

Sri Amritsar Sahib (Dawarka Nath Rana): The All India Kisan Sabha held a key meeting under the leadership of district president Ranjit Singh Ball. Leaders discussed the All India Kisan Sabha protest plan in detail during the gathering and focused on rising farmer concerns and upcoming agitation programs.

The meeting saw the participation of state general secretary Baljit Singh Grewal and state finance secretary Satnam Vardech. Furthermore, leaders highlighted serious challenges faced by farmers across Punjab and India.

Farmers Facing Serious Crisis, Say Leaders

Addressing the meeting, state general secretary Baljit Singh Grewal said that Punjab’s farming community is currently facing a severe crisis. He claimed that corporate houses are increasingly targeting farmers’ land.

Moreover, he alleged that these corporate groups want to take control of agricultural land at any cost. As a result, farmers feel under pressure and insecure.

He also launched a strong attack on the central government. According to him, the government is supporting corporate interests. Therefore, he said, the government is framing policies against farmers.

Strong Criticism of Government Policies

Leaders strongly criticized both central and state governments during the meeting. They said policies are becoming anti-farmer and pro-corporate.

Additionally, they argued that inflation is rising rapidly, which is increasing the burden on common people. Consequently, farmers and laborers are struggling to manage daily expenses.

The All India Kisan Sabha protest plan was finalized to highlight these issues at multiple levels.

Nationwide Protest Programme Announced

The organization announced a series of large-scale protest activities in the coming months. Firstly, from July 6 to July 10, tehsil-level protests will be held against rising inflation.

Furthermore, leaders confirmed a national convention on July 29 at Delhi’s historic Talkatora Stadium. The event will be organized jointly by the United Kisan Morcha, CITU, All India Kisan Sabha, and All India Agricultural Workers Union.

In addition, on August 10, massive protests will be held at district headquarters across the country. These protests will include mass arrests as a form of resistance.

Membership Drive and Fund Collection Ordered

The leadership issued strict instructions to complete the membership drive by June 15. Additionally, workers completed central fund collection work as directed.

Moreover, leaders emphasized that upcoming struggles require strong organizational strength. Therefore, all units completed their assigned tasks on time.

Support for Workers’ Movements

During the meeting, farmer leaders also condemned the alleged police lathi-charge on unemployed linemen protesting for their rights in Punjab.

They strongly criticized the state government’s action. Additionally, they extended full support to striking service center employees.

Leaders assured that the All India Kisan Sabha will stand firmly with all struggling workers and unions.
