Amritsar (Rajesh Sandhu): The Food Safety Department conducted a major inspection in Amritsar under the Amritsar dairy milk samples report drive. In addition, the team collected samples from several dairy units across the city.
Assistant Commissioner Food Dr. G.S. Pannu led the inspection team. On 21 May 2026, the team collected 12 samples of milk and dairy products. After that, officials sent all samples to the Food Laboratory in Kharar for detailed testing.
