Amritsar (Rajesh Sandhu): The Dhami Thanks Panthic Groups was held in Amritsar at the SGPC head office on June 1. The meeting took place under the leadership of SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
Moreover, the Antim Committee discussed several important administrative and religious matters during the session. The committee also passed key resolutions related to Panthic unity and organizational responsibilities.
Dhami Leads Key Meeting in Amritsar
Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami led the meeting and reviewed various departmental issues. In addition, the committee discussed recent developments related to Sikh institutions and Panthic coordination.

During the meeting, the SGPC passed a special resolution. It expressed gratitude to all Sikh organizations and sangat members who participated in the Panthic conference at Baba Bakala Sahib.
In addition, SGPC acknowledged contributions from Damdami Taksal, Nihang Singh dals, Singh Sabhas, Sikh federations, and various religious institutions.

After the meeting, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami addressed the media. He explained the key decisions taken during the Antim Committee session.

The committee also expressed concern over a recent incident in Bareke village near Jalalabad. A sacred saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib was affected by fire.
Furthermore, SGPC urged sangat members to stay alert and ensure proper safety arrangements in all gurdwaras.
In addition, officials stressed regular maintenance of electrical systems, especially during the summer season. As a result, safety awareness became a key focus of the meeting.
Discussion on 328 Saroop Case
The meeting also reviewed the ongoing 328 saroop case of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. The Punjab government SIT is currently investigating the matter.
Moreover, Dhami stated that SGPC is cooperating fully as per Sri Akal Takht Sahib’s directions. He clarified that SGPC will provide only case-related information.
However, he also criticized misleading statements being made by some investigation authorities. He stressed that SGPC will not share any unrelated information.
Employee Welfare Decision
In addition, the committee approved a 3% dearness allowance for SGPC employees. This decision aims to support staff amid rising living costs.
Furthermore, the committee passed a condolence resolution for former SGPC executive president Harinder Singh Tarn Taran, who recently passed away.
As a result, the meeting covered both welfare and administrative reforms.
