Two Indian women football coaches, Rutuja Gunwant and Sudha Rani, have successfully completed their AFC A Diploma Course through the FIFA Coach Education Scholarship (Individual) under the FIFA Women’s Development Programme. They were recommended by AIFF Technical Director Sabir Pasha and AIFF Head of Coach Development Vivek Nagul, with profiles verified and fully supported by FIFA’s Women’s Development Programme Division.
This achievement marks a significant step in advancing women’s football coaching in India, enhancing technical expertise at the elite AFC A level for national development. The scholarship underscores AIFF and FIFA’s commitment to empowering female coaches in the sport.
