Chandigarh: A major disruption occurred during Punjabi and Bollywood singer Diljit Dosanjh – live concert in Vancouver when Khalistan supporters created chaos at the ‘Aura-2026’ event.
According to reports, a group of Khalistan supporters entered the venue waving flags and raising slogans, leading to tension during the live performance. Security staff attempted to control the situation, but the protesters reportedly engaged in heated arguments with them.
The protesters also displayed posters accusing Diljit Dosanjh of being an agent of BJP and RSS. They alleged that the singer is influencing Sikhs living abroad and facilitating connections with these organizations.
The situation escalated further when the supporters issued warnings, stating they intend to disrupt the singer’s future events as well. Reports suggest that the sloganeering in Vancouver was led by PawanDeep Singh Bassi and Mandeep Singh Ravi, who are allegedly associated with the organization Sikhs for Justice.
The incident took place on April 23, 2026, during the live concert. Along with pro-Khalistan slogans, the group also raised anti-India slogans. Later, they recorded and circulated a video containing sharp criticism of Diljit Dosanjh.
