CM Sukhu Hears Public Grievances, Orders On-Spot Action in Shimla

CM Sukhu Orders Quick Action on Public Grievances in Shimla

Shimla (Kameshwar Sharma): Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu actively listened to public grievances during a public complaint redressal programme held in Shimla on April 24, 2026.

Citizens from various districts and remote areas of Himachal Pradesh raised issues related to electricity, drinking water, road connectivity, revenue matters, and social security schemes before the Chief Minister.

Taking immediate cognizance of the complaints, Chief Minister Sukhu issued on-the-spot directions to concerned officials to ensure swift resolution of the issues. He emphasized that people should not be forced to visit government offices repeatedly for resolution of their problems.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to treat public grievances on a priority basis and ensure their disposal within a fixed timeframe. He stressed that efficient grievance redressal is essential for delivering relief to citizens at the earliest.

Reiterating his government’s commitment, Sukhu said that the state administration is dedicated to providing transparent, accountable, and people-centric governance. He added that resolving public issues remains the top priority of the government.
