Patna – Following the formation of the new government in Bihar, portfolios have now been officially allocated among ministers, marking a significant step in the state’s administrative setup.
Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has retained control of 29 key departments, including General Administration, Home, Cabinet Secretariat, Vigilance, and Election, indicating a move toward centralized administrative command.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has been assigned 10 important departments, including Water Resources, Parliamentary Affairs, Information and Public Relations, Building Construction, and Minority Welfare. These departments are considered crucial for the smooth functioning of the government, highlighting his significant role in the cabinet.
Meanwhile, another Deputy Chief Minister, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, has been given charge of 8 departments, including Energy, Planning and Development, and Excise and Registration.
The distribution of portfolios reflects the government’s administrative priorities and is expected to shape governance and development policies in the state.
